Dr. Rashad Massoud is Visiting Faculty, Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, and Founder & CEO, Rashad Massoud Associates, LLC. Rashad is a globally recognized leader in improving healthcare and strengthening systems to deliver better outcomes, efficiency, and sustainability. He is an Inaugural Member of the Quality & Safety Academy of the International Society for Quality. He is fluent in English, Arabic, and Russian and has traveled to 93 countries and worked with 104. His previous roles include Senior Vice President and Chief Program Officer at Americares and Chief Medical and Quality Officer and Senior Vice President of the Quality and Performance Institute at University Research Co., LLC.

Kyle Johnson, Director at Rios

Kyle Johnson has supported numerous federal health agencies, including CMS, HHS, and VA, in tackling their most complex healthcare-related challenges ranging from organizational design to vaccine trial development/execution to payment policy effectiveness. He currently serves as a Director at Rios Partners.

Shannon Hayes, Senior Analyst at Rios

Shannon Hayes led the policy shop for an education & workforce nonprofit before joining Rios Partners, where she has supported medical supply logistics, Congressional readiness reporting, and vendor accessibility for VA; climate transition risks for PANYNJ; and alumni engagement for Duke University.

A.J. Callis, Senior Consultant at Rios

Alex Callis has leveraged his background in statistics at Rios Partners while consulting with CMS and VA to extract meaningful insights from large datasets and improve the health and well-being of Veterans and Medicare enrollees.

Jasper Swierstra, former Senior Analyst at Rios

Jasper Swierstra lectured at a college, worked at a biotech startup, and consulted on wastewater management before joining Rios Partners, where he supported medical supply logistics at VA and streamlining healthcare innovation at VHA’s Innovation Ecosystem.
